As promised before, Irancell's two all new e-mail services, Push-mail and Web-mail, are now delivered by Irancell for internet users. Using the said services, you can send/receive e-mails in the shortest period of time and at the least possible costs!
Using Irancell new "Push-mail" service, the subscribers can register their desired email addressin the system to view their new e-mails.They can also view the attachments to the message. Using this service is as simple as sending and receiving an MMS.All you need to do is to register your desired e-mail addresses in the system. You will then be informed of receiving a new e-mail through SMS or MMS. This is a wonderful service that enables the subscribers to have access to all their email features including creating a new message as well as sending, receiving, replying, forwarding, deleting, saving, etc. The subscribers can enjoy all the said features easily using only their SMS or MMS without using a computer.
To register for Irancell Push-mail, the subscribers first need to register for Irancell Web-mail Services.In other words, this free service is a kind of prerequisite for registering for Push-mail; so let's have a look at the "Web-mail" concept first.
What is "Web-mail"?
Web-mail is one of the most useful internet applications.This service enables you to access your mailbox and emails via a network browser, in this way you can send/ receive emails and manage them as you wish.
Irancell sets an email address for each Web-mail user. Such e-mail is unique to the subscriber since the subscriber's Irancell e-mail ID is their mobile phone number! Web-mail is a free service for postpaid and prepaid subscribers; The service will allocate a separate email to the users of this service in the Irancell domain (e.g.
989351234567@irancell.ir).
The subscribers may use this free service for their personal and business communicationsthrough their PC.
What are "Web-mail"Features
Once you register for Web-mail, you will be able to use all standard features of the mail box; plus, you can enjoy 50 MB free space allocated to all prepaid and postpaid subscribers. You can also have bilingual access to the service and enjoy the Iranian Calendar.
The subscribers will not be charged for using the abovementioned services on their PCs.
Free subscription to Irancell Web-mail:
The initial registration for Irancell Web-mail is free of all charges. This service will provide the subscribers with 50 MB free space.However, if the subscriber is interested in increasing the space to over 50 MB, he/she will, based on the subscription type, be charged monthly/annually.
What is "Push-mail"?
The advanced Push-mail service will be provided to the subscribers who want to access their mailbox using their cell phones.By this new service they will be notified once they receive an email. So their mailbox will be accessible at all times!
How Does "Push-mail" Work?
"Push-mail" allows you to connect all your email addresses (up to 5) to Irancell's network and will then notify you of any emails received through any of the mailboxes via SMS or MMS. You can determine your access type based on the type of your usage and cell phone. Entering the "Push-mail" portal, you will be able to choose either SMS or MMS for your email notification. Therefore, if your handset is MMS compatible you can choose this feature so you can view your email attachments as well. Choosing SMS, you will be able to receive your email via Push-mail even on the oldest handsets. However, you will only be able to see the sender, subject and the beginning part of your email content.Please note that in order to receive emails via MMS, you should have already activated the MMS configurations on your handset; but for sending emails in MMSform, further to MMS configurations, you should have also completed the MMS application and activation form so that your MMS is activated. Moreover, the maximum size of your sent/received attachments should be 300 KB that is equal to one MMS.

It is easy to use, no need to install certain software;
It is compatible with all types of handsets even old ones;
It enables the subscribers to receive new emails in SMS and MMS format automatically (online);
It can be set for various email addresses (that use POP or IMAP protocols such as Gmail)
It can be set for multiple email addresses simultaneously;
It can be set to receive emails on predetermined times;
It enables defining Authorized and Unauthorized Lists;
It enables the subscribers to reply the emails or send a new one via SMS or MMS.
Registration and Activation:
As mentioned before, in order to register for Push-mail, you should have already registered for Web-mail (as a free service). So here is an explanation on the manner of Web-mail activation followed by Push-mail activation.
“Webmail” Activation Methods:
To activate webmail, first send a blank SMS to 130 to get your e-Care password and then proceed one of the below ways.
1. Web:You may go to
www.irancell.ir and follow “Irancell Email Services” link to enter Irancell's Webmail Services portal. Enter the next page using your username and e-Care or Vitrin passwords and activate your services through Self-care. You may, in addition, make other desired configurations such as activation, deactivation, renewal and space purchasing. Please remember that your username is the same as your Irancell number (e.g.: 989351234567).
2. SMS:
You may also use SMS for carrying out operations related to Webmail account. For this purpose, send an SMS to 8600 containing the text for your intended operation, as shown in the table below.Your request will be responded immediately by an SMS.

Push mail Activation Methods:
You may request for “Push mail” service registration and activation after you have registered for “Webmail”. Upon your request, the system scans the type of your SIM. For postpaid subscribers, the registration amount (activation) will be added to the bill and for prepaid subscribers; the amount will be deducted from the airtime. The subscriber will then be informed of the service activation via SMS. You may activate Push mail via Web, SMS or USSD as described below:
1. Web:Through this method you may enter Irancell's Push mail portal by entering the Irancell website (
www.irancell.ir) and activate the Push mail service in (My Status). You may also do your Push mail settings via the web.
2. SMS:
Performing operations on your Push mail account is possible via SMS as well. For this purpose, send an SMS to 8600 containing the text for your intended operation, as shown in the table below. Your request will be responded immediately by an SMS.

The subscriber may dial the specified USSDs from his/her Irancell number to activate Push mail. If the activation process goes well, the confirmation SMS containing the subscriber’s Push mai l username and password will be sent to the user.

When you activate Push mail via USSD, you are required to do the subsequent
settings by entering the Irancell website and using the Push mail Services portal.
Email Reply:
You can reply to your received emails via your handset: select the “Reply” option, write the message and send it. Please note that if your email delivery option is set on MMS, you can also attach files in your reply.
Sending new email via SMS:
For sending new email via SMS all you have to do is to insert:

Please note that if the order mentioned is not observed, a system error occurs as a result of which your email will not be sent.
Push mail Service Fees:
The cost of Push mail service consists of two parts:

The cost per each email sent from your mobile phone is shown in Table No.2

The cost of sending SMS emails and MMS emails are calculated based on SMS and MMS tariffs respectively.
Free 20-MMS Bolt-on:
During winter promotion, you can enjoy the Free 20-MMS Bolt-on after registering and subscribing to the Push Mail service. In order to use the 20 free MMS's you can follow one the three methods mentioned below.
Note: The 20-MMS bolt-on will expire in 30 days or after the 20 MMS's are received.
Internet:You can log on to the "self-care" portal through
www.irancell.ir and activate this bolt-on by choosing the "Bolt-on purchase" option.
SMS:
The free 20-MMS bolt-on can also be activated via SMS. To do so, you can sendPM20 to 8600 via SMS.
